Project Description

A preliminary yet thorough study to examine the opportunities and challenges of the Mitchell Galleries and propose how the Library might position itself for the 21st century. A suite of gallery treatments were developed to serve as platforms for the exploration of physical and digital content. The collection included many treasures of Australian history and literature including the Macquarie Collector's Chest, Utzon's Sydney Opera House models, and  original hand-written version of Dorothea Mackeller's Core of my Heart.
